The general things to keep in mind...
* set a background color for mood (suggested by DsH), in this case sandy warm
* the color of the "sky" is supposed to be white or (warm?) grayish light blue, mixing in with the background
* The foreground humanoid (technically not entirely bio) should be warm, background should be cool due to them being inanimate objects. This way the two layers are even more separate.
* Should minimize the number of colors. Some watercolor artists use no more than 8 per painting. This one did not work out that way. Maybe I should re-think some color combination (some of the reds could possibly be merged, but I don't really know).
* my simplistic idea of the color scheme is (some kind of) blue and (some kind of) red making (reddish) purple, haha!
Ping An's design has changed. More stuff to mull over.

Her design isn't changing, it's evolving to a more perfect form! ^_^
